It have been exactly a week after my Canon 40D been send to Singapore to be diagnosed for the infamous Error 99. Today I received a call from Interhouse Company Brunei that my camera was ready to be collected.
The error 99 was caused by the failure of the shutter. It have been replaced and serviced by Canon Singapore without any charges since the warranty is still valid. 
Thanks to Hj Mazlan for hand carrying the camera last week to Singapore and a special thanks to the management of Interhouse for the superb customer care service given to me.
Sure does make me Happy
