January 2009 we all experienced the worst flash flood happened in Brunei. Less than a year from the date, Flash Flood occurs again at most of the common places known such as Jalan Beribi, Jalan Jangsak, Bunut Areas, Gadong which are mainly in the Brunei-Muara District. More news at rano, here, here, here, here and here.
The first hit of flood happened during the midday rush hour at Jangsak which makes the road closed by the Police due to safety reasons. The jammed was more than an hour which I tried to use an alternate route thru Telanai which also jammed. Rerouting my self to Jalan Babu Raja thru one of the connecting road which was surprisingly also been affected by the flash flood
Bad choice.
The flood score hat trick at Jangsak yesterday. The first hit midday, the 2nd hit after office hours and the 3rd hit was about 8:30pm. Just a gentle reminder to all road user of Jangsak area to be extra careful during this wet season.

Tanjong Pelumpong is situated in Brunei Muara District is my very first outing for 2010 with a few friends from the Brunei Forever Forum. As usual a special thanks for my brother in law for the boat ride to the island. Actually was trying to capture the sunset but eventually that day was sunless
Manage to take a few shots of long exposure there.

The first day of school at Sek Ugama Beribi. Well time sure files so fast. She’s studying in Year 2 at Seri Mulia Sarjana School Jangsak and as the regulation of any Muslim students who are in Year 2 must be registered to a religious school.
Things I do for love and for the sack of my children had been misjudged by someone whereby recently I was given a discipline letter for going out of the office frequently. I was just fulfilling my responsibility by sending them and picking them up from school in the morning. What to do? Myself can’t afford to hire a driver for them. Well that’s another story……
To my beloved daughter, study hard and may both of you have a bright future as what my mom and dad always reminded me “ BANGKIT TUAH “. I didn’t fail to do it but just not as what both my parents had expected.
A smile that make my misery gone
