Morning at Sungai Kedayan

This morning went to Jing Chew Coffee Shop in Gadong for a quick breakfast before going to Tasek Lama Recreational Park to meet my buddy for our first macro outing in 2010. Since I arrived at the coffee shop nearly 6:00am, I saw the sky and clouds are beautiful. Grab my camera and tripod  went to the river side near Gedung Concept. Did a quick HDR of the morning sunrise. :)

First two pictures forgot to set to a smaller aperture.. :lol:

Sunrise at BSB

Another unplanned sunrise solo outing this morning. I think I’m loving the atmosphere early in the morning. :lol: So I went to quite a few places in Bandar Seri Begawan trying the get the glare of the sunrise. At first I went to the jetty near the gerai at Jalan Residency then after a few shots I move to SOAS Mosque. I’ve taken a few pictures of this magnificent structure during my previous outing of sunset and this time the sunrise shots.

Random Shots of Sunrise

It’s like so challenging taking shots of sunrise. I think the main reason is waking up early in the morning and trying to get alert of where and what to shoot. Oh yea~ of course the main intention is sunrise :lol: but as my landscape sifu Mr. Trance Addict would say… at some point it is a challenge to get a better angle and framing. Here are the random shots that I manage to take a few days ago.
